Ummm...beautiful and wet? Soft and dew-washed? Focused and brilliant?

Someone who makes you feel that way isn't really a friend, right? And looking at the "old and discarded" flower, I see a beauty that someone missed out on. - They must've been blind.

Great shot. Beautiful message.

Thank you!

I'm in a mood and working it out through art! :rose:

I love it!

The light picks out the centre of the soft flower petals beautifully and yet the cold, crisply-focused, "green"ness of it makes it seem hard and brittle. As if it were delicate coloured glass or a fine porcelain treasure.

Against the granite surface it could be shattered by the least careless of caresses, at any moment, to become a thousand formless pieces with only the memory of the beauty it had.

My friend said, "I don't want your flower" and now I feel "Old and discarded". Again.

Great shot!

Art's a good way to work it out. =)
So I'll be looking forward to seeing more great work that's been inspired by one mood or another.
